Platan Bowls

This set of two platan bowls is handmade by Rotterdam-based artist Marisa Klaster. Part of their charm is the irregularity, the different structures, and that every side is completely different. Each bowl is finished with triple layers of food safe hard wax for protection and shine. Full of character and one of a kind, each bowl is made to order. The set arrives gift wrapped in a beautiful white cotton bag.

Wood reacts to fluctuations in light, humidity. Changes in color and shape are a result of a natural process and daily use. Bowls can be wiped clean with a moist cloth.
